Re: [Pre-Order] Pre Stripped Raspberry 3 Model B

Why having the Camera connector on there? I would find it way more usefull if only the HDMI connector was kept. This would make it way easier to do a RPi3 build similar to mine . Customized orders (get to choose connectors soldered in) would easily allow you to up the price a bit and probably increa...

did you manage to trim down the pi3 to make it smaller? Yep! A few pictures of it were in the latest album i linked in here. http://imgur.com/9fr3UTt.jpg http://imgur.com/hQBjV1e.jpg I actually think I have found the optimum placement of components, as depicted on the images. Most of the wires and ...

Re: Sand's GamePi3 [DMG-shell, RPi 3, 600x480 LCD, 6000mAh]

ive wired everything to the aio boards power strip but im not sure is a solution to my problem would be to solder the screen and possibly the pi3 directly to the power boost. It really shouldn't cause any problems to use to AIO-powerstrip to distribute power from the Powerboost to the consumer-part...

Re: Sand's GamePi3 [DMG-shell, RPi 3, 600x480 LCD, 6000mAh]

If you look around on the forums, I believe someone used magnets on their battery door. Worth looking into. Thanks! Have been thinking about using magnets. But they could always be added to it later, if everything else isn't sufficient at holding it together. Right now I'm instead considering two v...

Great - looking forward to getting my hands on it. It should be possible to change the tip for others, and thereby adjust the temperature right? Some temperature dependant magnetic effect that opens/closes the heating circuit.

Re: Sand's GamePi3 [DMG-shell, RPi 3, 600x480 LCD, 6000mAh]

So... I ended up buying a Safe shutdown board anyway. And I'm trying to get my hands on a Helder AIOV2.2A board. The cost is running up - but I enjoy the project! :D At the moment my little project is on hold untill I receive a better soldering station (2. hand used Weller WTCP 50) i found online fo...
