Re: Choosing your audio amplifier

I'm having issues with that amplifier. I'm using a usb audio card connected to the audio pot, then to the amplifier. The output of the amplifier is connected to the 3.5 jack and the speaker (a game boy spare one) is connected to the 3.5 jack. Everything works as expected, but I've damaged two amps. ...

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)

[SOLVED] So I thought about what you said about the wiring, and decided to change the ground wire to the upper left pad, right where the original switch was. So there has not been another reset issue since then. Loads games fine while charging and only drawing from battery. So the ground connection ...

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)

Here is some images of my build, let me know if you see something strange. I pretty much followed some post from your build and others with the kedei screen.

Right now the psu is desoldered from the board as I’m using my bench supply to test current draw.

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)

Sorry for double post. I made some discoveries. I injected 5V, 2 A Max with my bench power supply directly to the 5V rail, bypassing the banggood psu, the battery and the safe shutdown. Current doesn’t go beyond 0.65 amps, maybe there is a max that I can’t see with te current visualizer. Thing is, t...

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)

Truth is, the wiring, the measures, the board, the butchering, everything in this board is a PITA. I think I’m going to switch for a composite one. Even audio is not working right know, so I prefer to use a composite screen and a usb sound card :’( personally i would advise not to give up on the LC...

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)

I know, that’s why I went with this lcd. I’ve read that there are issues with this mod and the zero W, which is the raspberry I used. So I’m going to revert the mod, and try again 😃

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)

Hi Veteran! Loving your builds. I'm on the final stage of my own build and I'm having problems with my kedei screen. Maybe you can help me, or remeber someone who had the same problem. I've searched and I found nothing. I also made the power save mod to the kedei board, just for reference. Everythin...

Re: [For Sale] Safe Shutdown v1.0 for BangGood/GearBest/Generic power Supply

Hi! I'm building my firs GBZ, I'm on the final stages. I have this setup wired correctly, exactly as the wiring image of the first page. Battery is 4.1V, Output from the psu board is 5.01V. Battery is charging because led from psu board changes from red to green. I don't have any script running, but...
