Re: Teensy Teensy

Nice, that first one is so much cheaper than a Teensy too!

Teensy Teensy

I found the Teensy, however Teensy, to be a little big for my needs. So I found this tiny little development board. It's not as powerful and only has 4 I/O pins after using two for USB, so would require a bit more work than just soldering 12 wires from the button PCB. I'm considering trying it out, ...

Re: Camble's GBZ

It looks cleaner than it is. They were a royal pain to remove. I just wedged my iron inside to heat up the entire port. Kinda removed the traces on the power port.

Re: Camble's GBZ

Coming along nicely so far. I'm waiting until I've re-whitened the replacement case before permanently fixing anything down. My new layout means most of the boards are mounted in the rear half, not the front. The Powerboost is raised up so should help with cooling and prevent shorts. I'm hoping to r...

Re: SidSilver's GBZ

I basically just scrapped a glob off the side with the wire and stuck it on lol... Just be aware that cold solder joint can easily break. If you can melt it and let it cool again it should be fine. If you run your iron along those pins that have become soldered together, the reflow should be enough...

Re: Audio Amp - Strange power issue

Well the Pi works and outputs audio through headphones. Small headphones are quite loud without the amp. I'll keep trying.

Re: Audio Amp - Strange power issue

Yea, I spotted that. I guess there's a reason it's so cheap. I have a spare, but if these are so easy to damage I'll just ditch them.

Re: Audio Amp - Strange power issue

It maybe taking too much power from the Pi0, try using the Powerboost to power it, also make sure the power and ground are wired correctly since if there is a short the Pi won't turn on. It's not powered from the Pi0, both are powered through my breadboard which is connected to my PC. I've tried a ...

Audio Amp - Strange power issue

I have the following amp: http://www.banggood.com/2x3W-Mini-Digital-Power-Amplifier-Board-Class-D-Audio-Module-USB-DC-5V-p-929449.html If I connect the amp to my breadboard, which is powered from USB, my Pi0 simply refuses to turn on. Even without the input and output being connected to anything, ju...
