HDMI port

hello guys,

i am making another gameboy raspberry that i bought the parts before find the gameboy zero and well, because i already had the parts i continued working on it. but today i have a really big issue, and it is that my hdmi port is blocked (i am adding a photo),so i am looking in the comunity some help in a way i can by pass the hdmi in board by connecting a external port or even a hdmi mini it would be great.

There are a lot of pins in the HDMI port and they are very close together in the pcb, it would be pretty hard to get, you could try grinding down the screw post and using one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-15cm-Mini-R ... Swr41XHyCF

The boards for the connectors are probably too think to fit it cleanly into the case and he'd have to cram the ribbon cable in there too. Not sure if extenders in the same style as the adapters exist but something like that would be perfect once you grind down the screw post and a port space in the case.

I was also thinking of one of those 90 degree angle adapters after gutting all the plastic but i've never seen the insides of those

Yeah exactly but not even the right angle ones, just a straight male mini hdmi to female mini hdmi.
