I am just having a bit of a hard time with changing the default config for the sega master system/ and geneis. I am trying to change the default sega genesis layout for my GBZ zero (cso). I want it to default to having a 6 button controller with a different layout. I cannot find an answer in the retropi wiki.

by default its this

start : start
mode : select

Just trying to make it easier for fighting games.
