Wiring USB Ports to the Pi 3

Post by Mikethesith200 » Wed Jun 21, 2017 11:35 am

Hello all,

Bit of a noob here. I'm working on an NES mini clone with a Pi3 and my goal was to just use adapters for everything but that is proving problematic. i couldn't find this answer elsewhere (maybe i didn't look hard enough), so I thought I'd ask. Can 2 female usb ports be wired directly to the Pi 3 without desoldering the existing ports? I know it can be done by removing the existing ports, but that has been quite a pain for me. Not sure if there are pads for that. Please forgive my slight ignorance and let me know. Thanks either way.
