Hi,
I bought a screen on ebay and I try to connect it to the rapsberry pi 3 in rca.
The pcb card of the screen is the variant 9 and I modified so that it works in 5 volts.
I connected the wires but I have no display.
I modified the config.txt and tested raspbian and recalbox but I still have no display on the screen
the video output works on a tv with a composite input with the modified config.txt. (I soldered a composite connection to the pi 3 for testing)
Here are some pictures of the connections. I tried to solder the ground on the power supply or next to the video output: nothing
I connected the 2 ground (video and power): nothing
I think the screen is dead but I do not know what to test to be sure.
I took info with the multimeter:
On the raspberry:
- The red and black wires of the power supply are at 5.19 v
- the yellow and black wires of the video output are at 0.88 v
on the screen pcb :
- the red and black wires are at 5.19v (same thing on the red wire of the modification)
- the yellow and black wires are at 0.86 v
Any help would be appreciable

Re: BW screen variant 9 no display
Hi,
The screen now works. Indeed , the problem was on the red link wire. It touched a bit the printed circuit so I soldered correctly this and it works.
