Does anyone have any experience with this particular screen?

Post by amaarchowdhury11 » Thu Jun 08, 2017 8:22 am

I was wondering if anyone has used this screen successfully with a raspberry pi. I'm hoping to use it for a raspberry pi gameboy project of mine.

Would you be able to suggest any that you think will not be too difficult for someone to work alongside?

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5-inch-TFT-LC ... Ciid%253A1 this LCD is brandless so I can't really compare it however it looks very familiar to the screens others have been using. Would you suggest I go for it?

that screen doesnt look that bad... a bit similar to the gearbest screen alot of people have used

you really want to get parts for your first build that other people have used (tried and tested), just in case you run into any issues you'll have some chance that someone else may have encountered the same and resolved it....
anything new may leave you a bit out in the wilderness and could end up being pouring money down the drain

where are you based

United Kingdom, I'll have a deeper look later on that thread you linked to me. Right now I have
The pi zero, a 5000mAh battery, buttons and silicon Pads and the Gameboy shell.

I still need to get a working PCB, a LCD, speakers, powerboost.
