yes, with a hot air station...
or send it to me and i'll desolder it and resolder the screen it for you. I'm pretty sure you'll make a hot mess of one or other of those tasks...

*IF* you want to try it, use plenty of flux, desoldering braid (or your sucker for the big bits) and take your time. with some sharp pointy flush cutters, snip the pins (try not to dislodge the pads from the board when you do this. the copper isn't bonded to the board *THAT* well) then take the end anchor pads up, then clean up the pads with flux and a hot iron/braid

as long as the weight doesn't take it over the postage cost. I'm not paying your under-postage fine ;)

BTW you'll need to put adequate protection on it. At least tape it to cardboard both sides. the multi layer stuff, not a cereal box. otherwise the LCD will smash in transit. a bubble pack bag should be minimum outer protection too but I don't think a standard letter envelope will cut it... sadly this won't come under a single first class stamp. you'll need to go to a post office and have them weigh it and tell you how much it'll be otherwise it'll get lost or get held by my sorting office til I pay the difference AND the fine...

I'll hopefully be able to get it sent off tomorrow! Can you pm your address to me please? Do you want cash in with the screen or paypal? I'll send the stamps inside the package, just need to get them sorted!

I don't think American postage will work in the UK. You're better off just dropping a $10 bill in the package to cover shipping expenses.

We’re both in the U.K so there’s no problem there!
