sound issues

Hi

I have soldered the button pcb to the pi zero w. Trying to test everything before I continue. I have connected screen, usb sound card via otg and wermys v3 image on sd card.

The screen is fine, buttons are working, I get the splash screen and sound but no audio on emulation station when going up and down menus. If I quit es I get an error at the top of the screen lvl0 audiomanager error device or resource busy.

can anyone help with this?

I had the same problem when I used the same sound card in the guide, just didn't work, luckily had a different one which worked for me?

There' a bug when you enable Splashscreen screen sound with a USB soundcard - on first boot the menu clicks don't work. If you load a game and exit out they will work OK.

@lpoolm A completely new sound card fixed the issue for you? I'm having the same issues as OP but the sound workS on SPLASHSCREENS and my SNES roms wont load nor can I hear audible clicks in the menu...
