Should I test the power straight from the Pie compared to the battery? To see if its a voltage issue?

I've yet to try PSX on the pi zero, as for GBA, I was playing pokemon emerald and it works fine, possibly try switching emulators and see if it makes a difference? I don't think voltage would be an issue.

Thanks for the quick response I have tried the two emulators that came with the minty_v3 package and it made no difference. I even lowered the RES to its lowest setting when you press a to configure the rom. So I am baffled... as I think this is not normal.

PSX will run poorly on the Pi0, regardless of the ROM or emulator. You'll need to import the GBA bios file in the proper folder to make GBA playable.

I thought there were 4 emulators? You only see 2? I also assume you have the gba_bios.bin file in place?

I noticed that there are 2 GBA emulators on the stock image.... The other emulators are probably optional packages that need to be installed on their own.

Just Google gba_bios.bin you'll find a download somewhere. Then put it in the listed directory.
