Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
Hi Guys,
Playing Pokemon Fire Red and the game seems to run slow on Mintypi_v3 is there a way to fix this? (Main thing I want fixed)
PSX FFVII unable to save how do we fix this?
Thanks in advance

Re: Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
I've yet to try PSX on the pi zero, as for GBA, I was playing pokemon emerald and it works fine, possibly try switching emulators and see if it makes a difference? I don't think voltage would be an issue.

Re: Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
Thanks for the quick response I have tried the two emulators that came with the minty_v3 package and it made no difference. I even lowered the RES to its lowest setting when you press a to configure the rom. So I am baffled... as I think this is not normal.

Re: Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
PSX will run poorly on the Pi0, regardless of the ROM or emulator. You'll need to import the GBA bios file in the proper folder to make GBA playable.

I thought there were 4 emulators? You only see 2? I also assume you have the gba_bios.bin file in place?

Re: Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
I noticed that there are 2 GBA emulators on the stock image.... The other emulators are probably optional packages that need to be installed on their own.rodocop wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 4:13 pmI thought there were 4 emulators? You only see 2? I also assume you have the gba_bios.bin file in place?

Re: Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
Is it possible you can link a guide for import the bios file? Have done this yet for the retro distro...
I am on the github site but I cant see a way to download the bin file.. Need someone to shove me out the door? lol

Re: Performance of Roms GBA and PSX
Just Google gba_bios.bin you'll find a download somewhere. Then put it in the listed directory.
