trouble connecting to Pi after installing battery monitor script

Post by Robochris » Thu Sep 28, 2017 8:26 am

Usually my Pis will show under 'shared' in a finder window to transfer roms. My gbz and Pi 3 still do but the mintypi wont since I updated the script for the battery monitor. I also tried Go>connect to server but it still cant be found. Oddly, I can still ssh so I know its on the network.
Maybe @wermy can chime in.. I know he uses a Mac too.. anyone else?

Samba share was disabled on the mintyPi image so you wont be able to navigate to it as if it was a share folder. You'll have to use a SFTP program like Filezilla.

I remember reading that somewhere but I initially transferred Roms this way. Unless it was still enabled on the first img.

Is there a way to enable then disable after?

Having it enabled greatly increases the boot up times and may impact performance. FileZilla is so easy to use but if you must enable it I would have to research it.

Ok. If that’s what it is I’m sure I can figure it out. I was lost as to what the issue was.
