just an update, as i know some are still following this build


i got the adapters a while ago, but the hdmi splints werent with them (so i've had to re-order these)





but while i've been waiting, i've modded my gameboy shell (and the results are more than pleasing)










i'll update again, once i've completed the build.....

I was also wondering how were you planning on providing power do the screen? Were you going to solder or were you using a Micro USB? If you soldered it do you have any pictures?

heres how i will have mine wired up (already tested and works perfectly)




positive is attached to the bridged the switch points
negative is attached to the usb port point at the top nearest to the switch....

if you dont want to remove either the switch of the usb port, you can wire from under the board

also there no need to cut/trim/butcher the board too much (just a little off one end is needed)....
this is how my board will be in the build...
