Down button not programming on setup for RetroPie

Post by GrantVXR » Sat Oct 14, 2017 4:12 am

I’ve put this in hardware as I think it might be a board fault. I’ve running a teensy I’ve wired it up in the order Wermy said on his video. I’ve programmed the teensy with wermys configuration. When running through the programming it will not register my down button. I’ve checked the voltages on the button pcb and it has no power on the down pad whereas the rest are registering 3v. I’ve got continuity between my pcb and teensy on that wire. Could it be a programming issue with teensy or a bad pcb? Thanks.

Just checked resistance and I have 0.2-0.5 ohms on the down circuit on the pcb. I have multiple points I can check from and they are all reading this.

It’s definitely a pcb failure :( put a wire from teensy ground wire to the down pin and it recognised the input instantly.

You can reroute the defective track with a small wire and still use this board. Don’t be upset, this is not difficult to deal with !
