  • Twelve Pi Zeros, 5 Pi Zero Ws, Two Pi 3s and a Pi 2
Thank god I'm not the only one! I get embarrassed when I tell my wife that I need to go into my dedicated Raspberry Pi drawer to grab another Pi. Micro Center had a deal where they were selling the Pi0 (non W) on sale for .99 cents and I stocked up. I recently bought half a dozen Pi0w for projects. That's not including the army of Pi3s I have laying around.
Yeah, living 10 minutes away from a Microcenter is a real nice perk sometimes. Their buying limits are interesting though, $10 for one Pi Zero W, $15 each if you order 2-5, $20 each if you order 6 or more. Keeps down the reseller market very aggressively. Basically for me, it's "Oh, i'm going by microcenter, might as well stop in and pic up another couple of Pis!"

My wife already knows when she sees the MC bag that I've made poor choices.

I have no GBZ stories, so I'll say one of the most stupid things I've ever done. I was looking inside of some SNES cartridges, and thought it would be kind of cool to plug the cartridge in without its shell on. Horrible mistake, because you need the cartridge shell to tell if you're not putting the game in backwards, which I did of course  . My SNES wouldn't turn off after that. I was petrified that I accidentally fried both the game and the SNES at the same time, but found that changing out a simple fuse would fix the whole thing, so that was a big relief. I still can't believe myself DX
Bring back cathode ray tubes, goodnight!

1. Killing a micro SD by repeatedly switching my GBZ build on and off without waiting for it to boot.

2. Cracking a screen by putting too much pressure on the other side.
I was trying to glue a Raspberry Pi on a piece of plastic to it.
Next day after turning it on again; black spot on LCD.

Lol, I have some of my own ;)

1) using an .img imager to flash a .iso
2) breaking a gba sp case
3) Torn ribbon cablie from a 7in monitor
4) Breaking a different ribbon cable on another 7in monitor (but this one could be fixed)
5) grabbing the wrong part of a soldering Iron.
6) Soldering Iron plug blew up, due to me not taking care of the wire sooner.

First GBZ i built i ripped two of the volume pot pads clean off the AIO. I was new to soldering and for some reason thought i could snap them off and then resolder. 😂

Looking back I can't even believe how ridiculous that was.

Good job my first project wasn't my Kite SAIO build 😎
You forgot the gearbest screen hahah
-----------------------------------------------------

I screwed up a gbz case, drill got stuck in the hole, case slipped out of my hand spinning the case around while it still was on the drill lol omg.. (table drilling machine haha, used no vice :S)
