Hi all -
I don't have a multnomitor so I just tried it out.
I think I got the USB pads soldered right along with the SD Reader pads and the 4 Pi0 pads but when I try to check things out I get a ton of blinky lights on the back - see pic.
Edit - if I plug the SD card in the Pi port and then use the USB power on the Pi board it boots. I haven't done the 3.3 v 5v step yet.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Todd
[SOLVED] SAIO - Flashy lights on USB/SD Reader Test
Re: Flashy lights on USB/SD Reader Test
Never mind - Fixed it using the post hole method on the SD card pads and the 4 Pi holes (yes, that made me laugh )
Thanks for a great experience so far Kite!

When you solder over the 3.3v jumper, make sure to never power it up by the PI, you should be plugging the USB into the side of the SAIO from that point on
