Is the site/forums/wiki noticeably faster?
Hey guys,
I upped my hosting plan this past Friday to hopefully make browsing the site/forums/wiki faster and more enjoyable. I'm not sure how much of a difference I've noticed or if I'm just experience the placebo effect, so I wanted to ask you guys (and have, I think, our first poll!).
If nobody has noticed a difference then I may need to look into other hosting. If it's noticeably faster for most people then we're probably good for a while.

Yeah, it's much faster on my end, thanks!
One other thing - are email notifications working now? I wasn't getting any through but since about two days ago they have been working just fine.

Hard part is that it is quite subjective. I'm sure a lot of people are just as limited by their own connection than the supported traffic on the website.

Hmm, email notifications for me have always worked. Maybe they were going to your spam box or something? Either way, glad they work now for you.benoliver999 wrote:Yeah, it's much faster on my end, thanks!

Yep, that's why I waited a few days before telling/asking anyone if they had noticed a difference.Kilren wrote:Hard part is that it is quite subjective. I'm sure a lot of people are just as limited by their own connection than the supported traffic on the website.

I noticed for a while there was a very noticeable slight hang time during page loads but now it's more or less resolved on both phone and browser. Good stuff wermy.
