Re: No install for Recalbox
Preparation recalbox 4.1 for compatibility with raspberry pi Zero W
• Download image recalbox 4.1 for raspberry pi 1 https://archive.recalbox.com/updates/v1.0/unstable/
• Download file archive for rpi0 w ◦bcm2708-rpi-0-w.dtb https://app.box.com/s/kcs3vsv73zcrbdf5byks04sjftq1v2k4
◦bootcode.bin
◦fixup.dat
◦start.elf
• Download win32 disk imager
• Download Minitool Partition wizard free
Preparation microsd rpi0 w
• With minitool partition wizard: format the microsd to FAT32 as primary (see video)
• Install win32 disk imager, then load the previously downloaded and decompressed image, choose the Write button.
• Mount the partition to write: mount -o remount, rw / boot or insert the microsd into your PC, the boot partition is the only one accessible.
• Unpack the files for rpi0w, transfer them to the boot partition, replace existing files by saving them if necessary on your PC.
• Start your raspberry pi zero W.
Integration of the internal BT.
• Via winscp, or the terminal in emulation (F4 then ALT + F2)
• Write partition: mount -o remount, rw /
• Edit file: /recalbox/scripts/bluetoothcontrollers.sh
• Replace bcm2710-rpi-3-b.dtb with bcm2708-rpi-0-w.dtb
• Save and restart raspberry pi 0 W
Attention to the next update some changes will be deleted but normally the rpi0 w support would be in the next unstable update.
