Hmm... I'll have to try and fix this tomorrow. Did the photo work in the last post on the page? I attached that one direct.

Re: 1st GBZ build- HDMI Screen
interesting...
i was planning on using this screen, but because the aspect ratio is a bit off, so not be able to use the normal screen protector with sticker border and such has put me off that idea for the time being....

Do you mean hdmi connector without case? If yes, so I can see it.mark memory wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2017 6:19 pmHmm... I'll have to try and fix this tomorrow. Did the photo work in the last post on the page? I attached that one direct.

Re: 1st GBZ build- HDMI Screen
More progress...
I got the screen installed and moved around to the right spot. Got it centered. I think it looks good (screen protector still on!).
Overscan settings
HDMI settings (copied from McGyger)
Wiring up my buttons to GPIO next.

Thanks, can see the pictures now
Great build! How did you connect this screen to pi zero? I see only one red wire which is not enough for power and video signal

The red wire connects the power. The screen grounds itself through the HDMI cable I have.silentjames wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2017 1:11 pmThanks, can see the pictures now

Its a HDMI to HDMI mini camera cable of some sort. Not sure if I will be using it in the end though. Looks to be tough to package in there.

Re: 1st GBZ build- HDMI Screen
That looks great!
What is the visible resolution now? (overscan settings)
Because others have the screen edge on the richt further to the right so they had to cut into the case more, so the original (Bw screen type) screen protectors would not fit anymore.
If i look at your photo's, it seems that screenprotector will fit perfectly?!
And can you get the audio of the stereo jack of the screen now? So no audio card (usb) needed?
Still need an amp?
Thanks
