Re: GBZ Kite Aio PI3 Build
Started with a bigger update this week. Kite´s 640x480 Display, 2 additional shoulder buttons and Samsung S2 4800mAh Battery installed. Also removed the Aluminum Heatsink and installed a Copper one with Noctua heatsink compound. From first tests I get around 5°C less during Idle.

Re: GBZ Kite Aio PI3 Build
Thank you for your great support.
It was not really difficult at all to install the screen. For the upper screws I printed wermy's upper screw bracket and it worked great. Also adjusted the overscan values to get a nice clean looking black frame.
Is there maybe a software related solution to get the screen a little bit brighter, or is it all hardware related?

Re: GBZ Kite Aio PI3 Build
Do you have the link? I wasn't sure what exact measurements they were to look them up. Thanks in advance!

I have the 0.6c board and soldered the included resistor on R52. I measured the resistor after soldering with 22 ohm.kite wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 12:28 pmDid you solder the "BLBOOST" jumper on the SAIO? or if you were using the older versions of the board did you solder on the included resistor?Damazeltov wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 12:16 pmThank you for your great support.

Re: GBZ Kite Aio PI3 Build
ups :/ I replaced it....kite wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 1:14 pmCan you re-do the solder, especially on the LEFT side as it should be reading about 11ohm, 22ohm is the default that the original resistor is, and you need to solder it on top and not replace it (sounds like you did the right thing, but might need a little more solder)Damazeltov wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 1:12 pmI have the 0.6c board and soldered the included resistor on R52.
