Hi.

A few days ago I posted a video of a Raspberry Pi Zero Game Boy project I recently finished, and it kind of blew up a bit.  I’ve had hundreds of people asking to buy it from me, hundreds more asking for a how-to guide, and one marriage proposal (sorry “never_forget_Jackie_42”, I just don’t think it would work out).

As fun as it would be, I don’t have the time or resources to make a bunch of Game Boy Zeros to sell (and doing so might make Nintendo angry), but I thought I could at least post a more thorough how-to guide for it, as well as some other projects I’ve done (anyone care for some MintyPi?).  So, keep an eye on this space!  I’ll be posting guides and tips/tricks for projects like the Game Boy Zero, and other random things I deem cool enough.

Part 1 of the Game Boy Zero guide coming soon!

I am 90% into my own build, but I was waiting for the perfect trigger buttons for the back. Seems like you found it. Do you have a link?

Hey man I think this is so awesome. I was wondering how I could purchase one of these things off of you. I am 29 years old and I am a Iraq war veteran and this thing would help me keep my mind occupied while I sit thru treatment at the VA hospital. My email address is charliemang19@outlook.com. Even if you can’t make one for me I still think it’s awesome and thanks for posting the video.

Hello wermy, how did you wire up the sound with the Pi Zero exactly? I need to know this for my project. I would like to use two little speakers and want to turn the volumes with two buttons for up and down. How is the wiring and stuff. What about the file for the button input for the teensy and how did you connect it? I wanted to add an analog stick from a psp so how could i modify it to get it to work? Is there a possibility to get connected to you via e-mail? I’m planning to do a similiar mod but on another console which has no cartridges. 🙂 Good work with your Gameboy!! I like it a lot and it inspired me very much.
