Re: Circuit Sword Lite - first boot - TESTER and NORMAL mode showing only RGB
I managed to make it working. There was probably a bad soldering in one or more of the pin of the raspberry pi. I've looked at another post here in the form and someone had a similar problem. Then I checked all my pins and 3 of them weren't soldered perfectly. I fixed them and there it was, it worke...

Re: Circuit Sword Lite - first boot - TESTER and NORMAL mode showing only RGB
I think it might be something related to the LCD screen. I enabled SSH into the retropie, ssh-ed into the raspberrypi and manually run the Test script that looks good. Screenshot_ssh.png Could it be something related to the soldering of the raspberrypi? This is the current situation. No TESTER mode....

Hi,
do you mean to use the NORMAL mode instead. Because I've done that and I have got the same problem with the screen.
Any advice?
Thanks

Circuit Sword Lite - first boot - TESTER and NORMAL mode showing only RGB
Hi all, I managed to solder and connect the raspberry pi zero w on the board. I am now on step 20 after changing the mode to TESTER. T The problem that I have now is that after turning the switch ON, the display is showing only a flashing screen with Red Green Blue and White in a rolling fashion. At...

Re: Circuit Sword Lite - how to connect rear buttons
Hi Kite, thank you for the reply.
Unfortunately, I'm not that good with electronics, I didn't really catch up everything. It would be really helpful if could add those steps into the wiki with the pictures too.
Thanks.
Stefano

Circuit Sword Lite - how to connect rear buttons
Hi,
I'm trying to put together my first Gameboy Zero using Kite's Circuit Sword Lite.
In the wiki I cannot find a step to connect the rear buttons L1/R1.
Is there anyone that can guide me through it or give any advice?
Thank you!

Thank you @ericker. I will have a look. I signed up for the new wave of Kite's board on this link. I will patiently wait for the 29th of October and see if I can get 2 boards on the next pre-order.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Re: the first GBZ ever --> by a n00b
I've never own a Ferrari (that'll be great :D ). But in case we want to go with the bare controller button, do you recommend the Tinkerboy v3.0 (I can see there are 6 buttons, I need only 4 right :?: ). Secondly, if we want to go with the Lamborghini, do we need to post in the forum or there is a pl...

Hello, I'm not even sure if this is the right place to write the post, but I'll do it anyway. A friend and I want to start learning a little bit of electronics and raspberry pi. We are both computer engineers but we lack on electronics. When we saw all the amazing project with the Gameboy zero we go...
