Re: How to get retropie to recognise a 10-button GameBoy PCB?

So, we've get the PCB wired directly to the Pi Zero. But we're struggling to find exactly what we're needing to within RetroGame to get these buttons to work.... are we needing to install/download a driver? (We don't have the Zero W but we do have a wee USB wifi receiver.) It feels like a lot of the...

How to get retropie to recognise a 10-button GameBoy PCB?

We've got classic GameBoy styled PCB with 10 buttons. All the gameboy ones (no shoulder ones of course.) How the hell do we get retropie to recognise this thing as a controller? There are a million forums out there but I'm not sure we understand what we're meant to be doing... Help us? Thanks, guys!

LiPo Battery came without JST connectors...

We have a bunch of the correct JST connectors and are planning to make a small extension to the cable running between the Powerboost board and the battery itself. (For safety etc.) How the hell do you connect the ends of the cables coming from then LiPo battery to the tiny metal connectors that sit ...

Wiring the Powerboost to multiple components!?

Hello again! We're setting up the battery/power side of things on our build and we've hit a snag. We have 3 things that need power from the powerboost. - The audio amp (which goes only to the little speaker.) - the screen/chip for screen etc. - the Pi zero itself. With only one 5v and one Ground pin...

These are the data pads and power pads on the pi, you can wire the data pads to D+ and D-. I would wire the power and ground to the card from your power supply, not the pi itself. PiZeroConnections_large.jpg We've decided to go with getting audio direct from the Pi now. We managed to damage our sou...

Alternative to the PCM2704 for audio?

Hello! We have a build on the go (gradually) and our PCM2704 just broke on us sadly... the contact points on the USB side are gone. Is it worth getting another? Or are there any alternatives that would be a little easier to wrangle? Our audio setup is based on this map below... https://www.sudomod.c...

Re: Need some advice about audio (...and maybe general build advice.) Help save our build!

This is how I would wire it. See below: Untitled.jpg Try it out, see how it works, this will vary based on the headphone jack you are using, but you can see the pinouts of the commons ones used (https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=701). Also, your USB sound card may vary. regardless, it will ...

What do you mean by USB board? The hub? A hub is not necessary for the battery...but I noticed on your list on the first post you did not have a power boost module. You'll need an adafruit 1000C or a generic power board from china. Like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3-7V-Li-ion-Battery-Mini...

Re: Need some advice about audio (...and maybe general build advice.) Help save our build!

Yeah, USB sound card= pcm2704. As for the hub. If you want an external USB you'll need the hub. Since the pi zero only has one USB which will be taken by the sound card. Most programming can be done wirelessly, so having an external USB isn't 100% necessary. Great. I'm assuming that we need to remo...
