SO the Joystick is working but controls are inverted. Is there a simple way to invert the X and Y axis in retro arch or retropie?

Power the fan with the 5v pin going through a transistor that is connected to a GPIO pin. A script would control the fan by toggling the GPIO at whatever temps are coded. Ok so update number 2. I pulled it all out of the shell. Disconnected everything from the pcb (except the usb data) and pi. Re soldered a few of the 5v and gnd from the pcb, and the d+ and d- . I re attached the ribbon cable and it all worked! I ensured my connections were soldered cleanly. Re check...

I just noticed when viewing this from the side that the retropie image comes up and i can see it boot although it is almost not visable when looking front on. Almost like its a contract issue. Does this change the scenario?

I have just gone to do my first boot after completing my first GBZ. It turns on to a white screen only.

During my test out of the shell it logged to retropie but now i do not know what went wrong.
