It was just a standard SanDisk cheap and nasty bit of plastic

Cheers mate turns out to be a dud sd card.

That is two i have went through since October. A 16gb and a 32gb have self destructed.

Tried formatting them on my laptop but became extremely hot and write protected.

Turns out to be a corrupt sd card!!!!

Tried to put it in my laptop to format it and it became really really hot and unable to format.

Thats a 16gb and 32gb sd card that i have went through since october.

Sandisk are just a bunch of scammers

Its the BW 3.5 inch ordered from amazon.co.uk can remember what version off the top of my head Going to check my SD card tonight. Will just format it and set it back up again.
