Re: Shell Separating - Screw Bracket Likely Stripped

Not particularly. In fact, that particular GBZ ended up having the screen get ruined from the stress of trying to keep the shell closed. I had better luck with one of the kits from Pocket Adventures . Stuff just seemed to fit together a little better (likely because they use brackets that don't rely...

Spam Links in New User Posts?

I see a lot of seemingly legitimate posts by new users where there signature is nothing but a couple spam links. What's up with that?

Re: Game Boy Zero folks: do your GBZ's actually work on SNES?

The current Retroarch emulators for SNES have really put a damper on my Pi Zero emulation enthusiasm. I see really, really bad slowdown in games like Zelda:LTTP (especially when there's fog/shadows, like in the Lost Woods), Castlevania: Dracula X (first level when there's fire in the background), Ch...

Re: RetroPie 4.6 Pi0 Performance?

I've honestly given up on RetroPie using a Pi Zero, as every release makes the performance worse & worse. Emulators seem to be focusing on features like run-ahead, which might work great on a Pi 4, but just kill the fun on a Pi Zero. Ideally, it'd be nice to get my hands on an older ~2016-2017 versi...

Re: Benefits of dual analog sticks?

Ape Escape on Playstation is the only thing I know of that REQUIRES dual analog. For other PSX games like Metal Gear Solid, it's nice to have but not required.

It might also be nice to have for some arcade games like Robotron or Smash TV.

Re: GBZ35 & GBZ35-Dark RetroPie Themes for Small Screens

Another update... Most of these changes will probably benefit PC / arcade cab users more than handheld users, since I don't think the Raspberry Pi is actually emulating any of the added systems yet (except for Apple II). Added Apple II, PS2, Wii, & Xbox. Improved contrast & visibility on some system...

Another update today, because "why not?"

I've added theming for Nintendo Gamecube, Sega Saturn, SuperGrafx, & Wonderswan Color.

Re: GBZ35 & GBZ35-Dark RetroPie Themes for Small Screens

A quick cosmetic update for the GBZ35 themes today... At some point, an update of RetroPie's EmulationStation made it so the right edge of several of the system logos was getting clipped off. I just went through all of the logos, and added enough margin to fix the clipping.
