Did you machine it yourself? It looks immaculate.

Re: NODE Zero Terminal v3 could be cool with a controller add-on board

I'd love to build something similar. I'd make some changes though. 1. The display is too expensive (as nice as it is) and can't be bought without the HDMI driver board. If I'm going to make custom PCBs for it, I'd rather save space by eliminating the HDMI -> TTL conversion. I'm thinking about using ...

RPi alternatives that support DPI

In my opinion, one of the RPi's "killer features" is that it has DPI output. For my purposes, this is absolutely essential as it guarantees that I don't have to use a crappy composite output or deal with the bulk of HDMI. Does the BPi Zero support DPI? If it doesn't, are there other SBCs that do? RP...

The new PowerCastel also works nicely. I'll update the git repo soon.

Re: pcb direct soldering

That's a Teensy LC. If you try that with a pro micro, you're going to have a bad time.

I've done a board with a Teensy 3.2 directly soldered. With Teensy's, you can directly solder the USB lines as well because those are on the bottom of the board. It worked nicely and I plan on doing it again.

Re: Tiny castellated modules

I've had success with the USB hub and audio amp. I have not had success with the PowerCastel v1 (and haven't tested v2) nor the 32u4Castel (because one of the ICSP pins was incorrectly mapped). I plan on revising these two designs and adding a BacklightCastel (for high voltage backlights). Update: I...

Buying extra cables for SAIO

Hey guys, I posted in the GBZ support forum but I think this may be a better place to ask. I bought a SAIO from a forum member but he didn't include the cables or power switch. Is there a part number for the cable ends? I can probably fabricate the extra cables. P.S. @kite if you're reading this, ca...

Kite Super AIO replacement cables

I bought a Super AIO recently. Unfortunately, it didn't come with the connectors. Is there any place I can buy compatible cables?
