Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

A quick question. I have my GBZ all wired up and everything seems to work ok so far. I am now focusing on audio. At present I have no sound. I don't have the volume wheel but I remember reading somewhere you could just link this out. Can you tell me what the links are? Like pot1 to pot 3, pot 2 to p...

Hi.

I have the adafruit screen that wermy used in the original design. I can't get the text to look anything like his.

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with Arduino IDE

Hello again @Helder I tried the board with a windows 7 laptop from work. Same result I am afraid. I ordered two boards from you and so decided to wire up the second. This gives excatly the same result when connected to win10, Win7 and thePiZero. Weird to say the least. Both boards seem to program ok...

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with Arduino IDE

Hello @Helder, Ok. I reconnected the USB lead as I had originally and hooked it up to my Win10 PC. All I see is the USB Not recognised error message popup and the device shown as : 'Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed)' in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers list. I have tried swapping the white ...

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with Arduino IDE

Hello @Helder, I have programmed the board with the USB guide and once I got the correct driver all seemed to go smoothly. Programmed, verified and fuses set etc. I still cant get EmulationStation to detect the controller :-( I've tried everything I can think of now but still no joy. Is there anythi...

Re: How to Program Helder's All in One GBZ PCB with Arduino IDE

Hello again, My USB programmer arrived today. I have loaded the no analog gameboy sketch and uploaded using programmer option. It compiled and seems to have transferred ok. I'm not sure what if anything I have to do about the boot loader? I connected back to the pi D+ (green) to PP22 D- (white) to P...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

I swapped the wires as requested. Plugged in the USB and hey presto I got something. Connected to the pi but still can not see it connected. Plugged back in to windows 10 and now nothing. All drivers have just gone! - Weirdest thing ever. Not hiding in 'show hidden devices' just not there. Are there...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

Still getting nowhere. I have wired the V1.4 board as per the programming discussion. I used an old mouse lead. Rebuilt retropie to SD card etc so as a clean fresh new boot. connect board to pi. nada. not a sausage. I can't get the board to be recognised at all :-( So, over to the windows 10 machine...
