Re: ELUDE's GBZ [15% complete]
Heres what the screen looked like before it had a lot of white static going on, hard to see in just a picture but it also was kinda flickering. Thanks to @ChunkeeMonkee we had the same screen variant for BW and said placing the bypass would fix it. Also this was a PIT to solder, showed my fingers t...

Re: ELUDE's GBZ [15% complete]
Been a few weeks since my last update. Got some parts in and one that I ordered the wrong thing. Also was down and out for about a week with a medical condition (nothing serious) but made me wanna lay around instead of work on stuff. (All better now!) 20160803_141931.jpg Got all my parts from Adafru...

Need help with Control board modification
So I made a boo-boo and wasn't paying attention when I purchased my new dmg control panel off of kitschbent. I accidentally purchased the 2 button one instead of the X/Y 4 button version which I thought I was purchasing and I really dont want to try and return it or wait for another one. I do have t...

Re: Which LCD to get right now?
Would you say that the BW controller board was a decent size? The board's tiny! It probably takes up about 30% of the total area of the screen itself: 1469807028596-854797600.jpg Though it works on 5v straight out of the box, I added a bypass wire to eliminate some slight phasing. No chip removal n...

Re: ELUDE's GBZ
Don't worry about the back, worst case, you by a new shell from eBay. I did a quick search and found an entire shell for €6. Another option would be to use shoulder buttons on the cheap controller like @chiz did. Or finally, you may be able to salvage the front off the controller, again, just like ...

Waiting on some parts to come in to comp...

[Noob question] Which wires to use?
This is my first time ever for doing something like this sorry for a dumb question. I did try checking the forums and it said to look at the wiki but I didn't see any wire selections under the hardware. I purchased some "Jumper wires" from microcenter and was wonder if those are acceptable to use? I...
