Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

The first screen I recieved which has the weird colour shifting: IMG20220107131830.jpg And the second screen I received from the same seller , same listing. The seller assures me it's the same, but it isn't! I can't find any timings for this one that give me a display. I've not spent much time looki...

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

Thanks Kite. I can confirm – I received another screen from the same seller (which I had ordered previous to this debacle) and it's a completely different display sold under the same model name :D Good news is it doesn't appear to have a MCU chip, bad news no timings I've tried are giving me a pictu...

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

Hi floppes - I am just revisiting this and saw your reply which I had missed! Kite spent some time looking into this for me and I meant to post it back here but never got round to it. Here's what he discovered: Here's something you may not know about the implementation on the CS, for RGB666 we only ...

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

I'm in the UK but unfortunately I do not have a spare here – the screen arrived in 10 days or less from Aliex. I would be happy to donate some funds towards your screen for testing.

Hoping Kite will have some time to look at this soon. Until then, take it easy!

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

I started with Kites original settings and they have a similar output to the timing/dpi output you suggested. Interesting re: the micro controller, I assume that passes the display to the CM3? Although I have some experience with arduino, I'm not sure what's going on in Kites code. I have emailed hi...

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

Kite also offered a 640x480 "HD" display for the Circuit Sword. Is this the JT035IPS02-V0 you are using? No, this is a display I found on Aliex which I assumed might work out of the box. I had been using the original config.txt as a starting point. Thanks for confirming the RGB_666 I messed with th...

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

I misread your first reply and thought 22364160 should be the dpi_output_format. That was very wrong :D I don't think the colours are inverted in that image, they are just messed up. They look correct during startup and on the splash screen. The correct rgb_order is definetely 1 (rgb). How can I fin...

Re: JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

Thanks for taking the time to reply – that was very helpful. Seems like it's close now but still getting whacked out colours when the frontend loads, which is weird because up until that starts everything looks fine. # Enable DPI dtoverlay=dpi24 overscan_left=0 overscan_right=0 overscan_top=0 oversc...

JT035IPS02 640x480 display config

I recently purchased this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000075184344.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.340a4c4d1pbk89 640x480 3.5 inch JT035IPS02-V0 LCD screen. I didn't really do much research and have since realised these are not that common and I can't find any information about what needs to be in m...
