Re: Max's Gameboy Color Zero

Hello guys, I haven't posted for while, even if my Gameboy Color Zero is working since 2 months. Here the final result : http://i.imgur.com/nIhfYuG.jpg The battery life is around 2 hours. I successfully deported the low battery led from the powerboost (and it is soooooooooooooo tiny to solder) to th...

Re: Max's Gameboy Color Zero

Bad news guys. I had to take a hard decision tonight. I have to remove the cartridge reader :( :( . It takes too many space in the Gameboy Color and it was already difficult to close the case without the charger and all their wires and the battery. So I took it off and now I can have a really better...

Re: Max's Gameboy Color Zero

It have been a long time I did not keep you updated about my project. Here I am, and I will do the most I can to make my Gameboy Color working before my holidays, at the end of the week. I cut everything in the case and here is a positioning of all the stuff I have to put in, except the battery that...

Re: Internet over USB

Yes you can do it. I made it with my OSX 10.11.6 and my Windows 10. Here the link I used : https://gist.github.com/gbaman/975e2db164b3ca2b51ae11e45e8fd40a To ssh to a retropie build, you have to do : ssh pi@retropie.local The default password is raspberry . :!: Don't forget to connect your raspberry...

Re: Game Boy Game Cart - How to open

For me the pen trick made the job. I had to burn and remake the shape of the pen a few times, but it worked. After that it's enough to open and close the cartridge a couple of time, but not more.

Re: Retropie, white screen

I'm agree with Wermy, you should try to reverse the yellow and the white wire. I had a similar issue with my screen, and it fixed it.

Re: Max's Gameboy Color Zero

Hey guys, I finally got time to moving forward my Gameboy Color Zero. Rewiring the controllers As I said in the last post, the wires I used for the controllers were too rigid, and broke the solders. So I remade all the wiring stuff, and put thin wire in testing hole instead of the testing pads close...
