Doe anyone have experience using these kinds of screens for games, specifically retropie? I bought a 3.5 inch ...

Re: I can't have a graceful shutdown...

Pin numbers are not really relevant, the important thing is to wire it like the image below. The colors can be switched and rotated, as long as the pins you use are staggered.

Re: Notorious ZERO

The white and yellow cables are video only inputs, and the cables on the GC are video (yellow) and left and right audio (red and white). For the screen you have you only need to wire up one of the wires (either white or yellow on the screen) to the yellow plug of your GC.

Looking for Gameboy Carts? Here's a useful tip

I used to buy famicom and super famicom games all the time since they were alot cheaper and essentially the same as their NES and SNES counterparts. I though why not do the same with GB games. If you need a gameboy cart, just ebay search "gameboy game japan" and filter by lowest price. You'll be sur...

Re: What sort of cables do you use when wiring the Gameboy Zero up?

Stranded 22-28 gauge wire should be fine. The best thing to do is buy a multicolour ribbon cable so that way you can manage different signal and power types by colour.

Could trade the items in for a 1mm acrylic screen (without borders tho) since i have access to a laser cutter
I would do that trade, however, I already have 2 screen bezels

Re: [Gauging Interest] Buttons/Switches Kit

Yeah, $6 is only an estimate. I will determine a solid price if there is enough interest. I know I would personally pay $6 to have everything shipped in around a week instead of searching and waiting for 1-2 months for the parts to arrive from China.

[Gauging Interest] Buttons/Switches Kit

So as many of you know if you buy parts off eBay, you can only buy them in larger quantities. Also shipping takes a while. I have some extra parts that I haven't used that I was looking to make a kit and sell it for those who may have not yet bought their parts. Each kit would include: - 2x L/R push...
