Re: Safe shutdown when total power turned off.

Finally got around to setting up the UPS option. Ran into an issue I wasnt thinking of. So I tested it with an Adafruit Powerboost and battery. Had an extra 2500 battery. So when the power is disconnected, the Pi shuts down but the battery continues to send power to the Pi, so to turn the pi back on...

Safe shutdown when total power turned off.

I've converted my Street Fighter II cabinet into a retro pie. So fun. Picked up the game for $100, so is perfect for modding. What I'd like to do is make this as fool proof as possible. What I'd like to do is add a battery to the RPi 3+ so that it shuts down safely when I turn the power off. In a wa...

Re: New Pi CM3+ Launched

So if we were waiting for the Sword to purchase the CM, would it be safe to say that the new Lite version would be good? The only thing majorly different is the lack of onboard storage, correct? Figured saving a few bucks over the previous version is always better.

Re: New Pi CM3+ Launched

I was kind of curious about the different versions of the CM3+. Lets say it still fits perfectly into the Sword, would there be any benefit at all getting any other version above the Lite version? Or is it unnecessary if we plan on using an SD card anyways. I was a little unclear at first, but seems...

Re: Wiring a Sega 6-button Arcade stick to 8bidDo's DIY Board

Nevermind. I figured it out. All I had to do was remove the chip from the Sega board. Pretty awesome to be playing wirelessly with a controller I grew up playing countless hours with back in the 90's. Was the ultimate controller for Street Fighter.

Wiring a Sega 6-button Arcade stick to 8bidDo's DIY Board

I had this brilliant idea to use an 8bitDo's SNES board to convert my old 6-button Sega Arcade stick to bluetooth. Everything worked in theory. Now I'm trying to figure out why I can't power it on. I had soldered the ground from Sega board to the ground of the SNES board. Then I soldered the Start b...

Re: What do I need to re-solder? SAIO

What a pain, but I figured it out. One of the surface mount chips wasn't properly soldered. I was inspecting the Arduino area of the board, and noticed that there may have been a lead not properly soldered. I couldn't get a real good look at it since its so small. So I added some solder to it, and b...

What do I need to re-solder? SAIO

I'm finally getting around to building my Kite SAIO, and am running into a testing issue. I've finally worked the two USB pads on the Zero to finally make a connection, but am confused as to why the USB Audio and Hub work, but not the Arduino or Joystick. What pads control them? I'm working off of K...

Search in Pimoroni.
Yeah, I think that was the cheapest shipping I found back when I was trying to figure it out. Was hoping that there was a place here in the US that would do cheaper/faster shipping.

Re: Game Boy Zero - Pocket Edition

Personally, I wouldn't care for the analog stick. With it being smaller, and the Pi Zero not really being the best for those kind of games, I've never put in an analog stick in any of my previous GBZ projects. So I could do without.
