Re: Update, boot loop, then black screen, humbly requesting help.
Umm I didn’t even know there was more than one verion of the SAIO board. As I mentioned I’ve been away from the community for a while, I think I was on the second batch of boards that went out, if that helps to pin down the version. If anyone has a link to that version of retropie that was released ...

Update, boot loop, then black screen, humbly requesting help.
Hi guys. It’s been a while since I built my gbz using Kite’s SAIO. As such, after revisiting it I’ve run into a quite a troublesome issue... I was gonna let someone else see the gbz. Since I haven’t used it for a while I thought it would be wise to update the software. I let it run through the updat...

Re: Best SAIO battery solutions so far..
Ok, here's a pic of the wiring setup inside. Like I said, as it's the SAIO board the wiring is very minimal, the battery was just plugged in at the top of the board there above the pi zero. On the battery I only switched the connector to a JST so that it'd fit, nothing else. I can't figure out what ...

Re: Best SAIO battery solutions so far..
Here's the battery I used. It was sitting in a drawer for months before I got around to using it... http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/Earth-Rise/IMG_0718.jpg Here's a quick pic of my build... http://i1135.photobucket.com/albums/m631/Earth-Rise/IMG_0716.jpg I'll have to disassemble to get some...

Re: Best SAIO battery solutions so far..
Should work fine on any build. Thanks Helder, I haven't used pogo pins before so I don't have much experience with how to use them. I finished my build apart from the battery. It runs ok off the mains alright but when I tried to use the battery I have, I got nothing. So I tried connecting the power...

Best SAIO battery solutions so far..
Hi folks! I've been out of the scene for a little while so I haven't been able to pay attention to developments in the battery department for Kite's Gameboy Zero SAIO board. I have a decent quality 18650 (3500mAh) with a protection circuit built in ready to go. But I'm wondering if there's been any ...
