Re: [WIP] Project RetroBoy; a custom CAD drawn Gameboy case

Hia! All is well again, sorry to kept you waiting for two years. I'm in a better position now and should hopefully make some progress soon. Will show you in a separate post how it would look like. Also I'm better at 3D cad and engineering now so that should help. So what took me two years? Well arou...

Re: [WIP] Project RetroBoy; a custom CAD drawn Gameboy case

Warning! Just got another cheap Chinese controller in and it seems there are other kind of buttons out there now. You want them like on the right, not like as the ones on the left which is what I got this time. Have had quite a few cheap controllers now here you know, I buy what you probably buy to...

Just wait a bit... he could be very ill or something of the sorts.
And you're always free to produce some yourself and start a new topic for selling them, nothing is stopping you.

Re: Talk about show off. Cleanest build ( show boat)

Looks like a custom board. I'm more interested in the screen he's used - looks like it was this: https://world.taobao.com/item/541924387563.htm?spm=a312a.7700714.0.0.BhLrf7#detail - turns out ordering one cost less than £15 so I've placed an order, will see if its any good. did you get a decent tra...

Re: Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah

I still don't like the alignment, it's not centered. Wonder by how much we can adjust that, not talking about the pixel mapping but the black border to the side... On a sidenote we get to use all of these now; http://www.cnx-software.com/tag/olinuxino/ Some images can be found here; http://www.retr...

Re: Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah

I've ordered one since it's just 25$ shipping included (!) :P At least I'll be able to confirm if it works with my case or mod it a bit. Will be my 3rd screen, already have the 320*240 and 640*480 one... Another note: if the touch part works through a screen surround (does anyone know?, I don't thin...

Re: Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah

It's this LCD and it's of no use to us. If you look closely he cut open the sides to make room. This is the screen https://world.taobao.com/item/44542978601.htm?spm=a312a.7700714.0.0.kxuTTF#detail It's 86mm which makes it fit my case exactly, the original gameboy is between ~84-85mm (sides are taper...

Re: [WIP] Project RetroBoy; a custom CAD drawn Gameboy case

Shoulder buttons update Finally 1 headache less, I think I did it right. Ordered loads of buttons but none really fitted well or satisfied all my needs. My criteria were; 1. They should fit within the design of the case 2. They should fit within the dimensions of the case 3. Preferably round as oth...
