Hi, I wired my Helder board pretty much like that. I also wired the Screen (Power comes from Helder board, Screen works) but my pi doesnt recognize the helder board as usb controller - shouldnt it work just like that or do i need to do something differently? Check out SidSilver's project. That looks like the screen he is using, and the one I am using. Look over the pictures of his controller board and yours to verify it's the same one. How did you know to run that small cable to make it work on 5v? I'm afraid to even solder it with the pins on that chip being 1mm apart. I definitely never would have known to run a cable there.
