Re: Mushy buttons and input lag
I'll update with hardware specifics in a bit. I grabbed a new set of pads from retro modding. They definitely have improved things. I think the buttons themselves are a factor. I'm skeptical of the design of the back of the dpad for instance, it's hitting the raised part of the pad at an angle becau...

Mushy buttons and input lag
I've got a Gameboy Zero with seemingly slow inputs and super mushy buttons. I really have to crush the start select buttons and I feel like inputs are being completely missed. Could it be as simple as the way the PCB and buttons interact? Maybe I need to get the PCB closer to the front shell? Or cou...

[FOR SALE] Finished Gameboy Zero - Wermy style - Upgraded 640x480 Screen - $300
Selling my complete Gameboy Zero. Based on Wermy's youtube videos with a few adjustments/upgrades. Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/G1eJ9 Everything works great, no damage in construction. Buttons can feel a little mushy, I think it's because of the larger speaker I tried to cram in there. So the PCB d...

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ
Hey, First thank you for this! Incredibly helpful work here. I'm having an issue when I move the SD card to a standalone pi 3 to use it's wifi and usb ports. The battery monitor runs the shutdown timer because there is no battery attached to the pi 3, I assume. And it shuts down my pi 3 in 60 second...

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
Just as a reference - I ordered this screen: http://www.ebay.com/itm/182101827933?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I offered $50 just to see, they countered with $70. I probably couldn't have countered back, but I just went with it. Includes shipping. Haven't received it ye...
