Re: Mintypi 3, no power from battery, okay from USB

Hmm, so this is mentioned as being a potential *audio* issue (my audio is working fine) but I don't have continuity between 5V and FB3 as shown in this image: https://www.sudomod.com/wiki/images/thumb/f/f4/MintyPi_v3_Audio.png/1600px-MintyPi_v3_Audio.png There IS continuity between the third pin on ...

Mintypi 3, no power from battery, okay from USB

I hate to be That Guy but I don't know what else to try here... this is my second MintyPi 3, first one went together with no issues. Everything is working on this one (screen, sound, buttons) but it won't power on when connected to the power board (power via USB is fine). Things I've tried so far: *...

Re: Better sound, better speaker

Thanks. Hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult using the rotary tool on it. Did you find it took you long/was easy to trim? Nope, there's a little bit of plastic that'll be easy to cut through, then the base of the surround is like a heavy paper. It doesn't cut away as clean with a rotary tool, bu...

Re: Better sound, better speaker

Got some great sound and rumble feature too :D i will upload a picture of the final build soon ! What did you use to stick the speaker down to the case? When I trimmed my speaker it ended up a pretty tight fit inside the plastic ring that's molded into the front of the GB case. It basically snaps i...

I think it was earlier in this thread I had posted a battery test...it was a little over 2 hours-ish?

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in

@cannikin or anyone else Did you adjust your framebuffer in your setup file to the native resolution? i.e: framebuffer_width=640 framebuffer_height=480 Just curious how big of an impact it has on readability/quality. (These lines are already present in the config files but they're #'d out and are s...

Re: Cannikin's GBZ

Cannikin, as i have the same screen as you, could you insert another picture of your build from the inside? i wonder how you did to not screw the flat cable up... I assume you desoldered the white sockets of the screen pcb? how did you do that thing with the glass?s Here's a shot of the inside...it...

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in

Any ideas on how to wire this one? i see there's no 12v input! so it should work with just the 5v points? or should i use the 3.3v also? Now ive read all this thread, which is the best way to power it? from the powerboost? from the pi? Yep it's already 5V so you connect it directly to the PowerBoos...
