Re: controls stop working when i screw the GB case shut

You could plug USB ethernet into the USB port, in order to use the USB C port you have to flick the little switch to enable "PI_PASSTHRU" .. just note that if you do this then all other USB connections will be dropped (so USB audio, gamepad buttons, external USB facing port) until you put the switch...

Re: controls stop working when i screw the GB case shut

Nice one :) these pesky pieces of metal getting in the way! Can you grab the log file: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword/wiki/Troubleshooting-(LCD-Power-USB-Software)#collecting-the-log-file I need to really make a little script/utility to do some stuff to help debug this.. as far as things...

Re: Digital Volume Rocker - Up is down, down is up?

Awesome :) the alternative is to swap your soldered wires over ;) I should update that image on the wiki... the more recent versions of board have it all built in and the trace routing meant it had to invert it from the pic.. was a 50/50 at the time of making that picture!

Re: controls stop working when i screw the GB case shut

Strange, when the "controls stop working" is it just the controls? And where do they stop working? If you put it in to tester mode (see wiki) does that change the reported fail/ok things? Does the whole thing freeze?

Re: controls stop working when i screw the GB case shut

Post pics please :)

Usual suspects are:

Wifi module
USB C connector
The MODE 'pins' on the button you solder (these need shortening)

Re: Digital Volume Rocker - Up is down, down is up?

You need to update the arduino code, have you done that? (by update I mean to latest)

If you run the ./flash-arduino.sh script (after performing the ./update.sh script) inside the Circuit-Sword directory, that should help. There was an issue with older code around that area you describe

Re: Replacement parts

This image may help? The arrow is pointing to the pin at the bottom, not the exposed bit of metal on that switch.. and the other side of the button goes to GND which is any of those other holes. https://i.imgur.com/EPFYZxq.png If I ever ran out of everything, it is trivial to wire up your own button...

Re: Analog stick in N64

Late reply, cool your config doesn't have the joystick axis for some reason, can you walk me through how you are actually configuring it on the gamepad configuration screen thing? Because that is what makes that file and I'm suspecting the way you are doing it isn't right? Push the stick in the dire...

Re: Mode Button issue or not

The mode button isn't a real button, it's more of a 'modifier' key for CSO stuff only..

When it asks you for the mode button, just HOLD A to skip it. It'll popup saying that it has defaulted to SELECT :)

Re: Analog stick in N64

Can you show the output of: cat "/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/Arduino\ LLC\ Arduino\ Leonardo.cfg" input_device = "Arduino LLC Arduino Leonardo" input_driver = "udev" input_r_y_plus_btn = "15" input_r_x_minus_btn = "16" input_l_btn = "7" input_load_state_btn = "7" input_start_btn = "4...
