Why not just the PowerBoost 1000 Charger - Rechargeable 5V Lipo USB Boost, https://www.adafruit.com/products/2465 for example?

Hi, thanks for inspiring me to do this project and to all you here on this forum for sharing and helping! :) Can you use the original potentiometer and connect it to the Teency LC for adjusting the volume? And use a usb audio for output somehow? Have anyone tried this? Or use another controller like...
