The amp isn't as loud compared on the CSO. I assume you have the same speaker in both cases as the choice of speaker can make a difference. I just found out the hard way that one of the usb hubs listed in the wiki does not work on the pi however when I tested it on a pc it worked fine. This is the one that I could not get to work on the pi.
