Re: Zelda themed bartop arcade using rpi3
Dude! ... that is lush! ... awesome Zelda graphics... one of my fave games... I’ve recently started a build too... but there is little chance it will end up looking as good as yours! https://youtu.be/bD3srkNot_s Thanks, the most important thing is that you use the machine and enjoy playing it :) Al...

Re: Zelda themed bartop arcade using rpi3
Nice build ! How did you wire the controls ? I see only few wires soldered to the Pi’s pins. Do you have a controller like a Teensy ? Thanks! I used two "zero delay" USB encoders. They also power the LEDs of the buttons and joysticks of each user (5V) and are connected to the USB ports of the RPI3....

Zelda themed bartop arcade using rpi3
Dear all, A few months ago, I've made a raspberry pi 3-powered bartop arcade with a personalized Zelda theme for my daughter of seven (Svea) and my son of four (Thorsten) years old [and of course a little bit for myself as well ;)]. Hence notice the custom side-artwork :) The artwork was self design...

Re: 3.5 Inch Screen Converting to 5V Help
Do you use the same powersupply on the screen and the pi? I don't get your question. I connected the screen red and black wire to the 5v and ground on the pi. I use a micro USB to power the pi from a samsung phone charger which outputs 2 amps. For now, that is how I power the pi as my power booster...

Re: Problem with SD cartridge mod using prerunnerseth's PCB
Have you both checked if the copper pads on the prerunnerseth's PCB make contact with the right pins on the cartridge reader? I have noticed that "poorly" cut NDS GBA cartridge readers can lead to shifted connections (due to plastic that was not or wrongly removed). You can check this out by opening...

Re: Problem with SD cartridge mod using prerunnerseth's PCB
Well, first I desoldered again all connections I made to the SD card pads at the RP0 and I cut the "exposed/copper" part of all the cables as short as possible in order to prevent possible interference. I resoldered them to the RP0 and it immediately gave me the ability to boot, but not yet with 100...
