Just an update on the issues I was having, turns out the ribbon cable on the screen was broken so had to request a new one that's why the backlight was so dim.

Sorry if it's been asked before I did look but didn't find it but would there be a way of raising the button part to be closer to the lip? My fingers don't bend so well since I broke my knuckles.

Received my screen and been having a play (http://r.ebay.com/l2Fp3J) not sure what I did wrong but I don't get any splash screen and the backlight is very dim, just wondered if the screen may be defective or I actually did something wrong. Audio is now sorted for me, I used 4.7 Ohm resistors on the R17 & R18 pads the R15 & R16 pads are still 10 Ohm with 100 Ohm soldered to the right of them then going to the speakers negative side. I set the volume in alsamixer to the max I could without audio cutout then in each emulator while a gam...
