Re: Pi Zero won't turn on without SD card in slot
Again, thanks for the input. Maybe I misread your tone, but I seem to annoy you for some reason. It’s my first build, so if I make stupid newbie mistakes, that’s why. I really appreciate the input you gave.

Re: Pi Zero won't turn on without SD card in slot
Thanks for the input. I guesstimated the wire length from wermy‘s photos. Also, don’t I need a certain length since Pi and cartridge sit in opposite shell halves? Since I preemptively bought the capacitor Wermy used for noise suppression anyways, I’ll solder that in at the cartridge side. Any other ...

Pi Zero won't turn on without SD card in slot
Hey everyone, I am currently following Wermy's original build instructions, but instead of an SD card adaptor I'm using a microSD card reader breakout board that I've put into the cartridge. Everything has been tested with my multimeter, all connections are ok. Now I wanted to see if I can boot up t...

Re: Non-OEM Audio Guide - No DMG Parts
So my question, I see you use a different amp, will the AdaFruit one still work? Is it the same concept as the one you use? Already purchased the Adafruit one. Being a total noob to GBZ builds, I was wondering about the same thing. @Pumpytums mentioned output from his soundcard was loud enough for ...

Re: Which batteries possible with Adafruit Powerboost?
Thanks for the info! So the powerboost doesnt output more than that, right?abrugsch wrote:4.2v is the regular max voltage for all "3.7v" Li-Ion/LiPo batteries. And yes, those cased batteries should have protection built in.

Re: Which batteries possible with Adafruit Powerboost?
Also, the batteries I've been looking at give no information of whether they have overvoltage protection or not. The one I posted above reads a maximum voltage of 4.2V so I'm guessing it has no such protection?

Re: Which batteries possible with Adafruit Powerboost?
Thanks. Did the one used by wermy have the protective circuit you mentioned? Or can I add one myself?

Which batteries possible with Adafruit Powerboost?
Hi everyone, this is probably a total newbie question, but I want to learn and haven't been able to find an answer so far: I'm trying to replicate wermy's original build and was wondering about how the Adafruit Powerboost 1000 works with the Pi and the connected battery. More specifically: what defi...
