Strange software quirks

Hi all, I'm working on my third MintyPi and I've run into an odd quirk. I've assembled everything and noticed the display lights but doesn't seem to show any data. I figured it might be bad. I ordered another from eBay. Meanwhile... I figured I'd turn on WiFi and load up the card. Using the HDMI and...

Re: Another Lipo charging board

I see on the comments section of DX.com for the protected device someone said the charging current is more like 500ma. So you both could be right!

The max current listed in the specs might be a marketing, not engineering, measurement.

Another Lipo charging board

Anyone have experience with this charging board? It's small and cheap. Quant 10 for $2.98
Has anyone tried it?

Suggested mods to MintyPi image

I've been thinking of a wish list for the image file (which has been a lifesaver). 1) Bluetooth audio setup in the menu 2) Default wifi as an access point. So we can SSH or SFTP from any machine, anywhere, with any device 3) Bluetooth keyboard setup in the menu 4) Diagnostics to test buttons, screen...

Re: I lifted the power pad off the sound card!

I actually bought a cheap rework station with a temperature controlled iron and hot air for $47 a while ago and finally got around to setting it up in my new apartment, and WOW did it make a difference for this part of the build. This one. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=1317132...

Re: [For Sale] mintyPi BatteryMonitor PCB Preorder

Helder, sorry for reposting here.

When did you start shipping the safe shutdown boards? I'm in the middle of a build and I was wondering if I should wait for the 4 boards I ordered.

Thanks. Sorry for being a pest.

Re: Safe shutdown?

I don't mean to pester but is there any idea of an ETA? I'm building my third MintyPi and wondering if I should wait on final assemby because the safe shutdown board is coming soon or just go ahead. I'm building one for my niece's birthday and I don't know how much patience she has about waiting to ...

Re: Safe shutdown?

I'd be interested in this board, for more than my MintyPi needs. Make extras.
