Audio help (whirring/clicking)
After a million years of my pi sitting in my basement, I finally finished my build, except its not yet screwed together (side by side). I plugged it in, but the audio made this whirring and clicking noise. I used the kitsch-bent PWM audio filter, and I used @rodocop 's audio wiring diagram https://i...

GBZ USB Charging Test
So I just finished soldering all of my power components (micro USB breakout, power switch, powerboost, and USB port), and I wanted to test if the USB Port worked (data pins are not connected anywhere). I plugged in my power source, it turned on, and I plugged in my iPhone charging cable to the USB p...

Re: PitchForkNinja's 1st GBZ!
Finally, I'm back! I've been busy lately, so I'm trying to do as much as possible! Some bad news: I removed a pad on my teensy. Woohoo. Mistake #3. Good news: Because I couldn't finish the controls, I couldn't do just about everything on the front. Keyword just. However, I have pretty much finished ...

Re: Whitch screen is easiest to use July 2017
If you are a beginner, like I am/was, it might be worth it to buy the same screen wermy used from Adafruit, even though it is a lot more expensive. Make sure you don't mess up like I did, or you may end up calling for help or buying a new one. You can pick up one of the many BW screens on Amazon and...

Re: PitchForkNinja's 1st GBZ!
After fudging that up too, the screen has finally been fixed, and I should be doing way more stuff in the future.

Re: Is the audio filter necessary?
Here is an audio wiring with the filter from @Rodocop.
He says:
He says:
If you aren't using the filter your purple wire from the GIPO will go directly to the volume wheel. then everything else will be the same.

Re: Kitsch Bent PMW Audio help
Actually, look up a pinout of the Raspberry Pi Zero. All of the pins have strange labels, so that pin really is the 18th pin. Just wanted to clarify.

Re: First Time Build...Advice Please
I'm building my first GBZ too, and I've already fudged a few things. I tried to reuse the original button PCB, but a copper trace came off. It was also very frustrating and time consuming. Please please please buy a pre-made PCB from Kitsch-Bent, eBay, or the sudomod market. Also, when modifying you...

Re: Where to buy DMG case that fit day's gorilla glass
You have to cut out the Gameboy screen yourself. It doesn't look like anyone has made a 3d printed case yet. Your glass should fit an original gameboy perfectly if you leave a small bit of the screen bezel.

Re: N64 Pi0 Testing (some work!)
Since the Pi0 doesn't have the power to play SNES star fox (which I really wish it did!), but manages to play the n64 version. Starfox works for me! Try using a lower video setting and different emulators. I used DMT-4, because its the lowest resolution video setting, but I don't know if it is the ...
