Re: Diesel Dummy's "sudoNod"
Hi,
Do you have an STL file for the headphone socket surround you have used on your build? Makes it look very neat!
Cheers,
Nurgle

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
Thanks Kite so much. This has worked a treat! I'm so happy, I really thought I'd ruined it. Starts up perfectly now and safe shutdown runs when I turn the power switch off. In tester mode everything is good. Looking forward to being able to continue the build. Really appreciate the help.

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
No I agree with you there! With the naked eye it didn't look that bad!
Hope it can be salvaged, i'll be a bit upset if I've ruined it.

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
No still shutting itself down unfortunately. SD cards I've tried are Sandisk Ultra and Toshiba Exceria ones, both 32GB. I'm still waiting for a battery to arrive on a slow boat from China.

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
So this morning I started from a fresh microsd card with the written image as before. PGOOD LED is on now not sure why it wasn't before? It stays on until the shutdown process is complete. I've noticed it does a disk check on every boot perhaps due to the kernel panic on shutdown? 1. in resistance m...

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
PGOOD doesn't light up at all and the transistor looks OK.
Checking the soldering there are some scratches of the surface around the SHDN pin. Would that be enough to cause the problem? If so this is going to be my fault

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
I've tried it with back board and power switch to turn it on. I've also tried it without the back board and power switch connected just holding in the power button on the board. End result is the same. Is there a way to disable the safe shutdown just to see if it will boot normally?

Re: CS Lite: Shuts down, kernel panic
Hi, I used the release from https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword-Lite/releases https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword-Lite/releases/download/v1.0.0/retropie-4.4-rpi1_zero_CSL_20180927-163519.zip Unzipped and then used Win32DiskImager to write the img file to the microsd card. I've attached...
