Re: [PRE-ORDER] Circuit Sword (+ Lite), Circuit Shield + Circuit Gem - OPEN

@Kite, Is the 640x480 screen compatible with previous versions of the CS board?

As mentioned in a previous round, it offers better brightness like the standard "small" screen?

Thanks and cheers, good job as always!

Re: [PRE-ORDER] Circuit Sword, Circuit Sword Lite + Circuit Gem - OPEN

regarding the "NEW 640x480 HD LCD":

is it the same as the previous ones offered (last 1-2 years)?
Any changes in brightness, etc?

Re: 640x480 screen too big for case?

It does not fit, you need to do some cuts.

You can follow Kites instructions (check WIKI site) or you can check the cuts that Kubino offers.

I managed to have it installed with successfully, maybe you can get some hints in this post

Re: Mounting screen bracket with 2-sided M3 tape

I guess it would be a gamble. Maybe 3mm, but I think 4mm might be too wide. Forgot to mention that I also used some on the backside of the screen to keep it from shifting any in the bracket. Works really well. If you have any pics that you can share it would be appreciated I have ordered 1mm and 2m...

Re: Mounting screen bracket with 2-sided M3 tape

Yes, 2mm tape for the screen bracket. I put it on the face of the bracket and install it into the front case half. It works great and still allows for disassembly although it is not easy. This stuff is so strong that if I tighten the case screws too much the front of the case will distort rather th...

Use 3M VHB 2mm. It is clear and is VERY strong. I use it in all of my builds and I have never had a failure. It's a very clean solution.
Would be also interesting to see how this turned out

Do you have any links on amazon on which one you used?
Thanks
