Does anyone use 18650 batteries? If yes, does anyone have any info on any additional parts needed and wiring order?

I have three brand new 2500mah ones not being used and was wondering if they are workable.

Did you ever need to use the three little buttons that the screen comes with? I ask because I just received the same screen and don't know if I will need to include them in the build.
