ili9341 screens and pi 3a+

Im just hoping for a tutorial on ili9341 screens I tried juj's fbcp-ili9341 but was a little confused and it didn't work, is this still the best one or is there a more up to date way?

Your wiring is ok! The wiring on the picture is very simelar: these guys just make use of the internal bridge inside thise switches from left to right. You can measure this: upper left and right are bridged and lower left and right are bridged in these switches. So you can enter your ground on one ...

Noob question about tac switches

Ive been wiring tac switches like this (see pic) but when i look at other peoples projects they seem to do it differently. Am I just crazy and they are doing it like this and I cant see it? Wiring up ili9341 screen

I was wondering if I want to use an ili9341 screen on the pi without the original controller board, do I have to use any resistors or other components, I’m curious because I’ve seen it done both ways.

Thanks! I used a textured PEI steel sheet which gives it that finish and does a pretty good job of hiding the layer lines. :D
Sorry I’m kinda new to this stuff, that steel is on the print bed?
